The church is also known as(The Home of Unfailing Love) He was born in Lagos State Nigeria, He hails from ‘Share’ in Ifelodun local government Kwara State Nigeria from the family of the late Deacon Ayoku Lawal of Agodo compound Share, Kwara state Nigeria

Bishop Israel Olaiya Lawal began his ministry career with the United Missionary Church of Africa in the early 1990s. Throughout his journey, he held various roles within the church ministry He was ordained as an Evangelist, Pastor, Senior Pastor, and eventually Reverend by the United Missionary Church of Africa. The last position he held at the united missionary church of Africa was District superintendent
In 1996 he founded a prayer and singing ministry called CHRIST FOR OTHERS MINISTRY. With the MANDATE of preaching Christ to the lost souls, He invented Christian cultural dance popularly known as “African praise festival. This allowed him to preach the gospel of Christ with African heritage.
In 2009, he received the divine call to establish a new mission, Christland Christian Centre(.A church ministry.) Today, Bishop Israel Olaiya Lawal is renowned for his dynamic ministry, spanning over three decades, as the Founder and Senior Pastor of Christland Christian Centre in Ilorin, Nigeria.
Furthermore, he is recognized as the founder and coordinator of the African Praise Festival the biggest Afro-cultural music concert in Kwara state with 28 years of existence, and the Levite Grace Foundation, dedicated to caring for retired ministers of God. Ordained as the Presiding Bishop of Christland Christland in 2011, Bishop Lawal is a sought-after speaker at revivals, conferences, and seminars, He is known for his prolific writing and charismatic preaching. He is a trained and qualified Pastor with many books to his credit among which are:

He is also a singer with different songs accredited to him.
He holds a Diploma in Public Health from the Kwara State College of Health Technology, Offa, Bachelor of Theology/Bachelor of Arts in Christian Religious Studies From the United Missionary Church of Africa Theological College(UMCATC)/University of Ibadan. and a Master of Arts in Christian Studies from the University of Ilorin respectively. He is happily married to Pastor Funke Lawal, who co-pastors with him and their union is blessed with children.

Christland Christian Centre was founded on 8th November 2009 under the leadership of Bishop Isreal Olaiya Lawal with the mandate to reveal the unfailing love of God to humanity through the message of, love, hope, and faith in Christ Jesus,
By the grace of God, Christ Land Christian Centre remains committed to executing this mandate by preaching the love of God through weekly worship gatherings and community outreaches; and God stays faithful to supporting the ministry by a steady increase in our numbers and impact.
